Here from some of the judges about why you should enter yourself or nominate a colleague.

“I’m thrilled to return to the judging panel for the UEA Innovation and Impact Awards, representing the Science Faculty. As Associate Dean of Innovation, I have the privilege of seeing firsthand the groundbreaking work happening within our Faculty, and I look forward to sharing these inspiring projects with my fellow judges.

"Each submission will be assessed on three key criteria: innovation, impact, and collaboration. This awards programme is a perfect opportunity to highlight, celebrate, and reward the exceptional innovations emerging across campus. I encourage everyone to apply or nominate colleagues who have demonstrated excellence in creating meaningful change!”

Sheng Qi, Associate Dean of Innovation for the Faculty of Science and Professor of Pharmaceutical Material Science and Technology

“I’m excited to be on the judging panel for Innovation and Impact Awards in 2025. There is so much brilliant impact and knowledge exchange work going on in HUM that we develop in collaboration with our external partners and institutions. Research in the arts and humanities matters, now more than ever. Be confident in showing off the positive social, cultural and political impact your work has on the world.”
